Are you a biker and want to infect your kids with your favourite hobby as early as possible? They won't be able to ride themselves until later, so you have to transport them. That's what the inventors of Mac-Ride thought when they had their second offspring in 2011. Unlike most child trailers or bulky plastic shells, you can take your child off-road with the Mac Ride. From the age of around two, children sit on the rubberised saddle of the robust seat, have their feet in the adjustable footrests and hold on to dad's handlebars independently. They can see what's coming, actively lean into the bends and have a cosy chat with the rider.
The Mac Ride can be attached quickly and without tools. This means that it quickly disappears into the rucksack after the trip to nursery school. It also fits on any bike, provided you have a spacer height of at least ten millimetres and a clamping area on the seat post. Even easy single trails and forest paths are no problem with the seat and make for beaming faces on both rider and passenger. Only when cranking do you have to make compromises and pedal a little more wide-legged than usual. Children up to 27 kilos can be carried.
