We present six new eyewear concepts and give helpful tips on buying corrective sports eyewear.
More than half of the population has defective vision and is dependent on glasses or contact lenses. However, conventional visual aids offer too little protection when cycling. Specialised sports glasses with corrected lenses are the better alternative for most cyclists with visual defects.
If you decide to buy sports glasses for people with defective vision, you can choose between two different concepts. Glasses with a correction adapter that is clicked into the standard frame or glasses with directly ground-in plastic corrective lenses. The sports eyewear configurator from glass specialist Rupp und Hubrach, for example, provides valuable support in deciding which glasses are right for you.
