Shimano glasses are a constant amongst bikers. The Japanese company's bike goggles have enjoyed great popularity for many years, as Shimano has a suitable model for every area of use and every budget.

For 2025, the portfolio is growing with three newly launched cycling glasses in different performance classes. Together with the 2025 eyewear collection, Shimano is also introducing the new Ridescape lens technology, which is specifically tailored to the needs of road cyclists, gravel bikers or mountain bikers, depending on the version. We have all the information on the new bike glasses from Shimano.

Shimano S-Phyre SL 2025

The extra-light, rimless S-Phyre SL leads the line-up of Shimano glasses and is aimed at athletes who want high-performance bike glasses. Thanks to the feather-light, one-piece lens, the Shimano S-Phyre SL 2025 weighs just 23.7 grams and therefore sits particularly naturally on the bridge of the nose. Minimalism defines the design of the frame and nose piece and ensures an aerodynamic, slim look. Thanks to these features, the cycling glasses should also fit riders with narrow faces perfectly.

Shimano Pulsar 2025

With its one-piece lens, even the inexpensive Shimano Pulsar still weighs less than 30 grams. The lens should be particularly resistant and not only protect the eyes, but also offer them a high optical quality.

The lower part of the frame can be removed to save weight and customise the look. The Shimano Pulsar is aimed specifically at gravel and mountain bikers and also offers an option with photochromic lenses for changing light conditions.

Shimano eyewear 2025 with Ridescape lens technology

Shimano offers its Cycling glasses-collection 2025 with three different lens types, all of which are based on Ridescape technology. The needs of the eyes can vary greatly depending on the area of use on the road, gravel or trail. That's why the Ridescape lenses should always let the right amount of light through.

Shimano promises optimum contrasts and the perfect look on different surfaces. The Ridescape RD option is aimed at road cyclists. For the best possible visibility on asphalt, it enhances certain colours while suppressing others. Among other things, this is intended to improve the visibility of potholes or obstacles.

With the Ridescape GR, gravel bikers should be able to better recognise the transitions between gravel, forest trail and road thanks to an increase in optical contrast. Shimano offers the Ridescape OR lenses for mountain bikers who have to cope with even more strongly changing light conditions on trails.
