The Fast Lady Bib Short from Nalini is designed for use in sporty road, gravel and XC cycling and is aimed at riders who value comfort and efficiency in both training and competition. Thanks to their close-fitting race fit and aerodynamic construction, they are designed to offer optimum comfort at high speeds and over long distances.

Hardly any seams for maximum comfort

A central element is the high-quality Randonné Lady seat pad, which has been specially developed for the female anatomy. It combines cushioning materials with breathable, antibacterial properties to ensure a high level of comfort and effective moisture management.

The lower part of the trousers is made of compact, elasticated Lycra, which offers good muscle support and at the same time ensures lasting shape retention. This is complemented by integrated UV protection (UPF 50+), which means the trousers can also be used in intense sunlight.

The construction of the top is particularly comfortable: seamless microfibre straps ensure a pleasant feel without pressure points or chafing. At the same time, the upper body remains largely free of fabric, which improves breathability and offers an airy feel.

For additional comfort and a clean look, the Italians rely on laser-cut leg cuffs that do not have any irritating seams and ensure a stable fit. Reflective logos also increase visibility in poor light conditions.

Nalini Fast Lady Bib Short - Rating & Conclusion

Grade
Wearing comfort (40%)2,1
Seat cushion (30%)3,0
Equipment (20%)2,0
Quality (10%)1,0
BIKE NOTE2,2

The Nalini scores points from the very first time you touch it with its pleasantly soft material, which also moulds to slightly rounder tummies without constricting. In this respect in particular, the trousers are surprisingly tolerant - even in phases when the body changes, they remain wearable. However, if you are looking for specific support in the tummy area, you are unlikely to find it here.

The thick, soft padding does a solid job on the saddle, but really comes into its own on shorter to medium tours. The laser-cut leg cuffs are very comfortable to wear: Nothing cuts in, nothing pinches. Despite the lack of silicone grippers, the legs remained reliably in place during the test - a pleasant surprise. The straps are also unobtrusive and have no weaknesses.

The trousers have a clear advantage when it comes to material thickness: the comparatively thick fabric gives a secure feeling and is pleasingly opaque in the test. The bottom line is that the Nalini is a comfortable companion for relaxed laps - with small compromises when it comes to support in the abdominal area.
