With seven new products, Endura is further expanding its MT500 collection for the colder months. The focus is on weather protection, insulation and freedom of movement on the trail. Particularly exciting: the new Rout series succeeds the well-known Freezing Point products.
Endura’s Freezing Point range has been the top choice for years amongst mountain bikers who want to escape the dreary world of indoor trainers in a stuffy cellar, even in the frosty conditions of winter. Cleverly designed, lined with warm Primaloft and reinforced with waterproofing in all the right places, you’re always in good hands with this jacket and trousers. For the 2026/27 season, Endura has now extensively revamped its winter range and is following up with the MT500 range. The Scottish brand is expanding its high-performance collection with new trousers, jackets and mid-layers, developed specifically for cold, wet and changeable conditions.
It is striking that Endura is no longer relying on Primaloft for insulation, as it has done in the past, but is instead equipping its new products with Polartec Alpha, which also offers a high level of insulation. This active insulation material is designed to retain heat without compromising breathability on long climbs. At the same time, weather protection remains a key focus. With the new Rout Waterproof Jacket and the Burner Waterproof Pullover, two products featuring the waterproof ExoShell 30DR membrane are being added to the range.
Many cyclists are likely already familiar with – and fond of – the MT500 Burner Shorts. With the new Burner Pant, Endura is now offering a long version of these hard-wearing trail trousers for the first time.
The stretch Cordura fabric promises high abrasion resistance without restricting freedom of movement. Pre-shaped knees provide space for protectors, whilst ventilation openings on the thighs are designed to wick away excess heat. Thanks to DWR treatment, the trousers can handle wet trails and splashes. Price: 155 euros >> available here
The biggest new addition to the collection is likely to be the new Rout range. It takes over from the previous Freezing Point products and is aimed at cyclists who ride even in temperatures close to freezing.
In this context, the MT500 Rout Insulated Jacket the previous Freezing Point jacket. Polartec Alpha insulation beneath a water-repellent two-layer fabric ensures plenty of warmth. The hood with integrated face protection is particularly practical, as it is designed to keep the cold wind away from your neck and face.
To go with this, Endura is launching the Men's MT500 Rout Insulated Trousers. Here, too, the brand combines thermal insulation with ventilation openings and water-repellent materials. The trousers are primarily aimed at touring cyclists and e-MTB riders who regularly clock up the kilometres, even in winter.
