The Restrap hydration waistcoat weighs 215 g without hydration bladder and offers 4 litres of storage space. Four stretch pockets at the front, one under each arm and a large pocket at the back provide storage space during your rides. The waistcoat is available in two sizes and costs 179.99 euros.
The new hydration waistcoat is based on the Race Hydration Vest, but has been completely redeveloped. Restrap worked with UCI gravel winners and FKT record holders. What started as a weight reduction led to a new design from the ground up.
The mesh construction utilises stretch material for freedom of movement on the bike. There are four pockets at the front and one under each arm. The elasticated chest strap can be adjusted and opened with one hand. This facilitates quick refreshment stops in supply zones.
At the back there is a holder for the 2-litre hydration bladder supplied. The tube can be routed over both shoulders. A magnetic clip holds the tube when it is not in use. An additional stretch pocket on the back holds an emergency jacket. Reflective details increase visibility in the dark.
The waistcoat is available in two sizes: S/M fits chest circumferences between 80 and 100 cm, corresponding to T-shirt sizes XS to M. L/XL covers chest circumferences between 100 and 120 cm, corresponding to T-shirt sizes M to XXL. The total volume is 4 litres.
The new top tube bag is just the thing for gravel races: Your supplies stay close at hand without compromising on aerodynamics. At 0.6 litres, there is enough space for several energy gels between the feed zones. Thanks to the compact design, the bag sits directly behind the stem and keeps air resistance to a minimum.
Clever: A U-shaped reinforcement stabilises the bag without any additional attachment to the head tube. Depending on your frame, you have two options: If your frame has no top tube bolts, simply use the fast straps supplied. If there are threaded holes 64 millimetres apart, you can screw the bag directly to the frame - you won't need the straps at all. Either way, the manufacturer promises a bombproof hold.
