Navigation devices are not only helpful for ambitious training. Their main advantage is that you always have the planned route at hand. In 2023, for example, Garmin presented the Edge Explore 2, the power version of the new edition of the Edge Explore, which can be connected to an e-bike. Once connected, the bike sat nav from Garmin retrieves the corresponding on-board data from the pedelec. Together with the map data, the new Edge Explore adjusts the route if necessary so that no one has to end a trip with an empty battery. More about the Garmin Edge Explore.

Time is probably one of the best gifts you can give. How about a cycling trip together or a weekend getaway? S for Service

Many cyclists take a winter break and don't get back on their bikes until spring. This makes it all the more important to check everything thoroughly now. Is everything still working? Do wearing parts need to be replaced? How about giving the annual service as a gift. Either you know your bike so well yourself and give away your expertise, or you can ask your trusted local bike workshop about the possibility of giving away an inspection. And as workshop appointments are often scarce, you could arrange an appointment and give the gift of delivery and collection if the recipient is unable to attend the appointment. A third option is the blue book of bicycle technology as a gift (cost: 29.90 euros).
