The latest YT Capra is characterised by its wheel size-specific frame design. YT Industries has taken a two-pronged approach with the two new core models with aluminium frames: the MX edition has short, agile chainstays and progressively designed kinematics to absorb impacts in the bike park. The 29-inch version, on the other hand, has longer chainstays for better climbing characteristics and linear rear triangle kinematics for full traction in demanding terrain.
YT Capra Core 1
The new YT Capra Core 1 is ready to go and the perfect introduction to the third generation of YT aluminium enduro bikes. It is available in five sizes with MX and 29-inch configurations. The hydroformed aluminium frame comes in the colour "Sludge Green" and comes with a matching 620 ml water bottle as well as threaded inserts underneath the top tube for a mounting strap for a tube or similar. The Rockshox ZEB Base suspension fork has 170 millimetres of travel with the latest Rush RC damper. The specially tuned Super Deluxe Select R shock delivers 170/165 mm of travel depending on the wheel size. YT offers a separate guide for the suspension setup of the Capra on the website. Sram Centerline brake discs with a diameter of 200 millimetres combined with DB8 brakes that use mineral oil should provide plenty of deceleration and thus guarantee long-lasting reliability. The Sram NX Eagle drivetrain offers sufficient range with its 11-50 cassette and 12 gears. All models in the YT Capra Core range are equipped with the Maxxis Assegai and Minion DHR II tyre combination. On the Core 1 Enduro bike, they are mounted on Sun Ringle Duroc Comp SD37 wheels. The YT Postman dropper post is available in sizes S to XXL and ranges from 125 to 200 millimetres of drop.

YT Capra Core 2
The new YT Capra Core 2 sticks to YT's values and guarantees reliable performance at a fair price. The existing component list of the Core 2 remains the same for model year 2023, but the drivetrain has been updated by direct mail order to a Sram GX Eagle drivetrain with a 10-52 cassette (520% gear range). Enduro riders can also benefit from the longer YT Postman dropper posts in all five frame sizes - 200 mm for the XXL size, 170 mm for XL/L, 150 mm for M and 125 mm for the Capra Core 2 in size S. Suspension on the € 3299 aluminium enduro bike is provided by a Fox 38 Performance fork and a Float X shock. Crankbrothers Synthesis Enduro wheels made of aluminium are designed to impress with their durability, while the grippy Maxxis Assegai and Minion DHR II tyres provide additional confidence in difficult terrain. Sram Code R brakes with Matchmaker clamps offer excellent modulation and stability for maximum confidence on steep terrain; the package is rounded off by a SRAM X01 Eagle drivetrain system. The YT Capra Core 2 is rounded off with an E-Thirteen cockpit, ODI grips and the classic SDG Bel Air 3.0 saddle.
