When it comes to wheel size, you can choose between Mullet (29/27.5 inch) and 29 inch. The new YT Capra has slightly less rear travel than its predecessor and is more race orientated overall.
You will look in vain for corners and edges on this bike. The rear suspension provides good support and can take a beating when the terrain demands it. The bike always remains predictable in high-speed sections. The rear suspension reacts pleasantly progressively towards the end of the travel. There's nothing to complain about in terms of handling either. Tight turns, quick changes of direction, off-road jumps - no problem!
Celebrity tester Textor aptly summarises: "It strikes the ideal compromise between playfulness and smoothness." The racers in the test field as well as the freeriders liked the bike. On tour, however, the Capra seemed rather sluggish in comparison.
