Trek has relied on Bosch motors for its e-mountainbikes right from the start. So it's no surprise that the brand's 2020 range rolls onto the trails with the latest version of the Performance CX motor. There is also the 625 Powertube battery. The highlight of the new e-MTBs is the new Trek Rail model. An E-Enduro based on the successful non-motorised Enduro Slash. The key data is therefore available: 29 inches, 160 millimetres of suspension travel at the front, 150 at the rear, plus an elegant full carbon frame.
The Trek Rail features some stylish details. For example, the speed sensor is elegantly integrated into the dropout and the battery is removed to the side, as with the 2019 models. The equipment on all models is designed to meet the requirements of e-MTBs: Four-piston brakes, 12-speed drivetrain with steel cassette, 29-inch tyres in 2.6-inch width.
