The Cannondale Scarlet has two faces - that's a good thing!
Rather sporty and firm, or rather plush and sensitive: the Cannondale Scarlet can do both. A bike for girls who love technical trails.

The Cannondale Scarlet is based on one of the best all-mountain fullys ever: the Cannondale Jekyll. The centrepiece of the massive Scarlet is the DYAD shock, whose travel can be reduced via a remote lever on the handlebars. In combination with the lowerable fork, there are two characters in one bike: a sporty one for efficient uphill pedalling. On the way downhill, the suspension reveals its enormous potential: easy to swallow in rough terrain and sensitive on the trail. The girls were impressed by the very agile, playful handling. However, they found the handlebars too narrow. Top: grippy tyres adapted to all-mountain use. A bike for girls who love technical trails. Unfortunately, it is quite heavy.

PLUS Adjustable chassis, super handling, choice of tyres
MINUS Narrow handlebars, cockpit unsuitable for small hands, equipment

Since Gitta crossed the Alps twice at racing speed, she has favoured multi-day tours - by MTB in the Alps or by gravel bike through the German low mountain ranges.
