Top all-rounder that rightly bears the name Enduro. Carelessly equipped apart from a few tuning measures. Handlebars and tyres cost points.

As a multiple repeat offender, the Specialized Enduro has already rolled through a bike test in almost every spec. And what can we say: The Enduro simply does a very good job both uphill and downhill and proves once again that it is perfectly suited to the wide-ranging Enduro category. The suspension is drive-neutral, sensitive and forgiving, the geometry with short chainstays is manageable, playful but still easy to pedal, and the extremely low bottom bracket makes the bike the perfect cornering predator. However, there is a lack of ground clearance in technical pedalling sections, which leads to frequent, unintentional bumps with the pedals. In addition to the telescopic dropper post with remote control, chain guide and good details (SAG display), we would have liked a wider and flatter handlebar for better handling.

A telescopic seatpost with a remote lever on the handlebars is one of the best inventions of recent years.
