The Specialized Kenevo opens up new possibilities with its 180 millimetres of suspension travel. Now the e-freerider comes in a limited special edition designed by Troy Lee.

Freerider, super enduro, big bike? Mountain bikes with 180 millimetres of suspension travel make sense almost exclusively with lift assistance - unless they have a motor. Specialised was one of the first companies to embrace the concept and created the Turbo Kenevo an e-MTB for tough trail and freeride use. Now the designers at Troy Lee have given the bike a limited special design.

The Specialized Kenevo Troy Lee Edition is limited to 220 units (!) in Europe and will cost 6499 euros, which is 200 euros more expensive than the classic version. Troy Lee had a completely free hand in the design of the special edition. The only design specifications from Specialized were: Make it look rad. No boundaries. No limits. The visually spruced-up but technically unchanged bike will be available immediately.

Professionally, the experienced test editor now focusses on e-mountainbikes. In recent years, the qualified sports scientist and trained journalist has tested over 300 bikes and more than 40 different motor systems in the laboratory and in practice.
