Hörnli trail hunt: We invited the current Scott Ransom and Cannondale Jekyll models to a hunting duel. Which of the long-travel 29-inch bikes is the hunter and which is the hunted?
The tangle of riders is slowly unravelling, but just like my team partner Tobi and the other starters, I'm shaking like raw eggs down the marble run. Even the thick 2.6-inch tyres in 29-inch tyres handle like a bobby car in a ball pool on the loose gravel. But after two bends, we leave the ski slope under the Weißhorn summit behind us and turn into the first single trail of the Hörnli Trailjagd - a fun enduro race with a mass start.
