Visually, the 22 models from Moustache have hardly changed. But that is more special than boring. The reason: the French have worked down to the last detail to fit the new giant Powertube 750 battery from Bosch's Smartsystem into the down tube and have even managed to save some weight and installation space in the process. How did they manage it? Moustache has a Own motor and battery holder developed. The bulky battery lock is no longer required and has been replaced by a slim bracket. This means that the Battery without key can be removed and is also housed in the same space as the 625 battery with battery lock in the previous bike.
In addition to the battery, the frame itself has also been modernised. Despite the integration of the Smart System, an optimised structure and cable routing should reduce the weight by 150 grams. compared to the predecessor. The Geometry has also been updated with an increased seat angle of two degrees, a reduced steering angle of one degree, a longer reach and a lower bottom bracket. Despite the aluminium frame with the Bosch Smart System, the new Moustache models weigh a respectable 23.4 to 25 kilograms (manufacturer's specification), depending on the equipment.
As before, there are two models, Game and Trail. The 29er Enduro Samedi Game comes with 170 millimetres travel and is available from the Game 5 model for 5799 Euro available. With Rockshox Domain forks, Deore brakes and XT 12-speed gears, the bike is ready for demanding trails and the weight of 25 kilograms is still acceptable. Four further equipment variants are available up to the top model Game 11 (8399 Euro, 23.5 kg) to choose from.
The All Mountain with the name Trail has been updated along the same lines. It has 150 millimetres of travel and also 29er wheels. Prices start at 4799 Eurobut with a 625 Wh battery and without a Smart System. However, five equipment variants between 5699 and 8199 euros also offer fans of the Powertube 750 plenty of choice.
