With 150 millimetres of suspension travel and 27.5-inch wheels, the new Radon Slide 150 is already leaning strongly towards enduro. Even if it is still categorised as an all-mountain bike. Bodo Probst, the master of suspension, has made a few small geometry changes to the revamped model. The steering angle has been slackened by another 1.3 degrees, while the seat angle has been steepened slightly to generate more propulsion on climbs. At the front, 34 mm forks with 150 and 160 millimetres are used. The steering angle varies between 66.5 and 66.8 degrees. The down tube has been kept almost unchanged. The top tube has been lengthened slightly. This should make the geometry somewhat more aggressive. At 435 millimetres, the chainstays are a good average. This should prevent the bike from becoming too nervous on faster descents. A total of five models will be available. Prices start at 1800 euros. All versions have double front gears. Radon wants to broaden the range of use more than would be possible with a single chainring.
