The new TK01 has a very classic look. A closer look reveals exciting details, such as the mighty 1.8 mm head tube or the double-welded chainstays. The geometry data is also harmonious: The rear triangle with a length of 453 millimetres and the 64.5 steering angle promise climbing ability and smooth running. Plus 170 millimetres of travel front and rear, a short seat tube and mixed wheels (29" front, 27.5" rear) - what more could a racer's heart want? Okay, EXO+ casings on Maxxis tyres are not ideal. But our last tyre test showed that the great Maxxis Assegai with this casing is surprisingly puncture-proof. That leaves the not so high-quality suspension elements. But in our experience, bikes with successful kinematics and geometry also work well with mid-range suspension elements. Is the Thok TK01 such a candidate?
