Mondraker presents the revised Level and calls it E-Enduro. The suspension travel of 180/170 mm and the Mullet construction scream freeride. The Bosch Performance Line CX Gen5 motor powers the bottom bracket and the 800 Wh battery is designed to guarantee range. The most important facts at a glance.

Topics in this article

Mondraker presents its most powerful E-Enduro with the new Level. The full-power bike combines 180 mm suspension travel at the front and 170 mm at the rear with the brand new Bosch Performance Line CX Gen5 motor, which the manufacturer claims delivers a torque of 100 Nm. A removable 800 Wh battery with high capacity and the option of an additional 250 Wh range extender should ensure maximum range.

Mullet setup and revised geometry

The Level relies on a mullet set-up with a 29-inch front wheel and 27.5-inch rear wheel, which should ensure more precise and playful handling. The Forward Geometry has been revised and now includes five frame sizes from S to XL, with the new size ML being added. The chainstay length varies depending on the frame size: 445 mm for S, M and ML and a long 455 mm for L and XL. The head angle has been flattened to 64 degrees.

Adjustable geometry and Zero Suspension System

The geometry can be set in two positions via a flip chip on the lower shock mount: Standard and Low. In the low position, the bottom bracket is lowered by 5 mm, while the head and seat angles are slackened by 0.35 degrees. According to Mondraker, the revised Zero Suspension System should provide more sensitivity in the initial stroke, more effective damping in the event of big impacts and improved traction uphill.

Integrated display and 800 Wh battery

The RR and XR models are equipped with a Kiox 400 display integrated into the top tube. This full-colour TFT display automatically adjusts its brightness to the surroundings and offers a dynamic display: Uphill up to six data fields are displayed, downhill a simplified view with a large speed display. All Level models are equipped with the new, removable Bosch 800 Wh battery. This has been completely redeveloped and optimised with 21700 cell technology, which should ensure a higher energy density and improved efficiency.

Born in South Baden, Laurin Lehner is, by his own admission, a lousy racer. Maybe that's why he is fascinated by creative, playful biking. What counts for him is not how fast you get from A to B, but what happens in between. Lehner writes reports, interviews scene celebrities and tests products and bikes - preferably those with a lot of suspension travel.
