KTM and Enduro - these two terms are almost synonymous in the motorbike scene. In the bicycle sector, which incidentally has hardly anything to do with its motorbike colleagues apart from the name, the company has taken its time to develop the first real enduro bike. However, the "Prowler" makes a mature impression right from the start. It features the classic diamond main frame with all its advantages. There is space for a bottle cage in the frame triangle and the "Prowler" really shines in terms of stiffness, but doesn't get out of line due to its excessive frame weight. In the riding test, the "Prowler" behaved quite neutrally. It doesn't excel in any discipline, but doesn't stand out negatively anywhere. The suspension responds well and provides good traction; however, the "Prowler" could do with more travel, especially at the rear. Overall, the rear suspension feels a little firm and is inferior to the fork in terms of performance. The very high steering centre is only appreciated on extremely steep trail sections, otherwise it costs control and traction. On singletrack, you have to actively lean over the handlebars to get enough pressure on the front wheel.
CONCLUSIONKTM has put together an honest package with the "Prowler Moto": a solid frame with functional components.
