The system offers enormous reserves, as proven by the EMTB high-altitude test bench. It only stops after 2000 metres in altitude - predestined for tourers. In general, the Atom Lynx seems to be designed more for this clientele than for mountain-orientated enduro riders. You sit high on your horse, on rather than in the bike, the suspension is quite firm and the geometry offers smoothness rather than manoeuvrability. Downhill, both the tyres and handlebars are a tad too narrow. The Brose motor delivers its power well, but the drive ratio is too long.
ConclusionClassic touring bike with beautiful integration and decent performance. Less suitable as an enduro bike for downhill blasting.
