As a simple single-pivot bike with multi-link support, the Meta 6 doesn't appear to be state-of-the-art in terms of looks. It also lacks details such as a tapered head tube, bottle cage holes (despite sufficient space), greater standover height or fully routed outer shells. This makes the aha experience on the first few metres on the trail all the greater. Despite its long top tube, the Meta 6 impresses with balanced handling and an absolutely potent rear triangle. A real riding machine with a full throttle guarantee, sensitive and yet extremely smooth when pedalling. Special gimmick: In the size L we rode, the steering angle can be fine-tuned by 0.5 degrees. We definitely had the most fun in the slack 66-degree position. At 15.7 kilos and a frame weighing 4.2 kilos with the shock, the Meta 6 is a big fish. The lack of fork drop does the rest. Although we liked the Commençal's pure downhill handling the second best, its weight, stiffness and warranty performance only reduce its score to "good". A real pity, because there is no doubt about the riding fun of the enduro bike from Andorra. A chain guide and fork drop would be a useful addition to the solid equipment.
PLUS Full rear triangle, balanced handling
