Carbon Enduro: YT Capra 29 Core 4 on test
Seven years after the first YT Industries Enduro Capra, the latest carbon Capra MK3 has now had to prove itself in the BIKE laboratory and practical test.

Although the appearance of the frame has been retained compared to its predecessor, it has been optimised in some areas: the carbon frame of the YT Capra Core is around 150 grams lighter at 2873 grams. The geometry has also been adapted. With six millimetre longer chainstays and a 0.7 degree slacker steering angle, the wheelbase has increased by 23 millimetres. In addition, the slightly longer reach of the new Capra for 2022 the smooth ride. The 77 degree steep seat angle now positions the rider further forwards, which means that the riding position is still relaxed.

Find out how reliably the new 2022 YT Capra 29 Core 4 performs in the bike park and on trails in the test from BIKE 9/2021, which you can easily download as a PDF below.

The test costs 0.99 euros. Why not free of charge? Because quality journalism has a price. In return, we guarantee independence and objectivity. This applies in particular to the tests in BIKE. We don't pay for them, but the opposite is the case: we charge for them, hundreds of thousands of euros every year.
