You can almost outgrow yourself on the wide, thickly padded saddle of the Premium-i from QWIC: rarely have you sat so upright, rarely have you held such highly adjustable handlebars. If you like to sit like this, everything is in the right place here. In addition to the riding position, the sufficiently responsive, albeit not very laterally stiff suspension fork and suspension seat post provide comfort on short journeys. The narrow Schwalbe e-bike tyres, on the other hand, do not provide any comfort, but give the bike a light-footed feel.
The Bafang mid-motor provides a pleasant amount of power and pushes confidently to well over the 25 metre mark. However, it doesn't let you feel all of its 80 Newton metres for a long time on the climbs. However, fans of the Lieferando effect - staying at top speed by pedalling almost effortlessly - will get their money's worth. The 400 watt hours are not enough for 100 kilometres, which works with the Eco setting depending on the route. The battery of the QWIC Premium-i can be charged internally and externally. The soft suspension fork is probably partly to blame for the fact that 20 kilos of luggage on the carrier is relatively noticeable, but not safety-relevant. The encapsulated chain was well received and, together with the seven-speed gears, represents a small carefree package. 2999 euros is still a reasonable price for an almost complete concept. Different battery sizes possible.
The QWIC Premium-i MN7+ is a well-equipped bike for touring with a little luggage and everyday commuting. For people who like to keep an overview, love Dutch cycling and are more relaxed when travelling.
