You can always get downhill - many people think. With the right downhill technique, you can gain a lot of time and feel safe. We show you how to do it.

Fast up, slow down - the classic marathon rider is doing something wrong. Don't you think so? Just stand at the side of the course of a marathon. What you see: Bikers who shoot up the mountain in top form and can often only creep downhill. Bikers invest huge amounts of training time in climbing the mountain quickly, always following the motto: I'll get back down again. However, very few people realise that there is a lot of time to be gained with a good downhill technique.

We'll show you how to get faster downhill: Together with riding technique pro, Stefan Herrmann, we have picked out the key sections that will slow you down. Whether on gravel, steep sections or root passages. We also show you how to tune your bike for fast descents. And let's be honest: it's much more fun to let it run on the descent than to shudder through the bends.
