Sounds banal, but it is - and yet it doesn't hurt to internalise a few things over and over again: In the basic uphill position (photo above), you sit in the saddle. This is the only way to pedal evenly and get maximum traction on the rear wheel. The arms are slightly bent. This allows you to balance well with your upper body off-road. Last but not least: don't look directly in front of the front wheel, but don't look too far ahead either.
E-MTBs are equipped with a wide range of motors with various power and support levels. You should familiarise yourself with the options depending on your individual leg strength and, above all, the terrain. However, the range is always from low support (Eco) to full power in Turbo mode. In between, Bosch drives also have so-called "intelligent" modes.
Ideally, your fingers should never leave the brake levers, even on uphill sections. This is because the brakes are a perfect tool for controlling the drive on uphills. You can also find out more about this in the steep uphill riding tips.
