1. the black
"This is the fastest line, but also the most challenging. This is where I can gain the most momentum into the subsequent left-hand bend. In addition, my line is nice and straight at the beginning and allows for a lot of speed. I use the rock as a jump and the slope after the root serves as a landing. Then I lean my bike into the turn."
2. the red one
"The red line is easier than the black line, but also slower. Shortly before the rock, I have to slow down a bit for the cornering. After that, I take it easy and hold the handlebars firmly during the root carpet. The bend at the end is tighter, so I use the brakes more energetically here."
3. the green
"Most bikers probably ride the main line. It is the slowest line because it winds its way round the terrain obstacles and is full of bends. Bends can handle less speed than a straight line! This line has only one advantage: the smooth surface and a lower risk of flat tyres."
