We want to know exactly: The bike magazines BIKE, TOUR, MYBIKE, EMTB and FREERIDE Delius Klasing Verlag and the Zedler-Institut für Fahrradtechnik und -Sicherheit are launching a major survey among cyclists of all kinds - regardless of whether you spend your free time as an ambitious athlete on a racing bike or mountain bike, go on holiday with a trekking bike or use your e-bike for your daily commute to work.
++ Attention, the closing date for the survey has already been reached ++
We are interested in your personal experiences with your bike, which you know better than anyone else: Do the brakes on your bike always work safely and reliably? Or do the gears jam and can't be changed properly? Have you ever had to have certain parts on your bike replaced? Have you ever been involved in a crash or accident and needed repairs to your bike? Or did a defect perhaps even favour the fall? And what about the endurance of the battery on your e-mountain bike - can you still manage as many kilometres as when the battery was new?
We are interested in all these and many other topics. We want to understand even better which details are important in bicycle technology and we want to take the results of this survey into account in future tests of bicycles and bicycle components. You can provide detailed information about your bike in the following questionnaire - and if you use more than one road bike, gravel bike, e-bike or commuter bike, you are also welcome to document other bikes in this way.
++ Attention, the closing date for the survey has already been reached ++
The winners of the prizes will be announced here soon.
As a small thank you for your support, we are giving away a box full of exciting and entertaining cycling books and digital subscriptions to BIKE, TOUR, MYBIKE, EMTB and FREERIDE magazines to all participants in the online survey. In addition, all survey participants can win the following Giro bike accessories worth a total of 500 euros as the main prizes:
Giro Eclipse Spherical
The Giro Eclipse Spherical is a first-class aero road bike helmet. The lightweight, compact cycling helmet is ideal for use on road or gravel bikes. The slim outer shell actively directs the airflow to reduce air resistance at different angles of attack. At the same time, 14 ventilation openings ensure a cool head on hot summer days. Inside the Giro Eclipse Spherical Aero helmet, a MIPS insert ensures that the rotational forces generated on impact are minimised.
Giro regime
The Giro Regime road cycling shoes are equipped with a lightweight, thermally welded PU mesh upper and are designed to feel like a second skin on the foot. Two dual Boa L6 twist fasteners guarantee quick, intuitive and precise adjustment with even pressure distribution. The Giro Regime road cycling shoe is also equipped with a modern carbon-reinforced sole for efficient power transmission. According to the manufacturer, the lightweight Giro road cycling shoe weighs 530 grams per pair. We are giving away a pair of Giro shoes worth 250 euros as part of our online bike wear survey.
