Individual test: Hirzl Tour Thermo gloves
The Swiss glove specialist Hirzl has expanded its Grippp range with the Tour Thermo winter model. We tested the MTB gloves.

With the kangaroo leather model, Hirzl promises a unique grip feeling with warm hands even in winter. The supple palm material allows the hand to literally stick to the grip, while the softshell membrane ensures cosy, warm hands - even on long rides. Only the fingers are a little tight for the length
cut for the length. The workmanship and seams are impeccable.

Stefan Frey is from Lower Bavaria and loves the mossy, loamy trails of the Bavarian Forest as much as the rugged rock of the Dolomites. For technical descents, he is prepared to tackle almost any ascent - under his own steam. As an accessories specialist, he is the first port of call for questions about equipment and add-on parts, while as head of copywriting he sweeps the language crumbs from the pages of the BIKE print editions.
