In cold and wet conditions, the loosely cut 2.5-layer material protects against the elements. When it gets drier, the partially open zips on the sleeves allow fresh air to flow in. The sleeves and back are made in one piece. The sleeves are attached to the waistcoat with a zip. The back section, which covers the area over the shoulder blades, is fastened with press studs.
