The Scots have experience with changeable weather. And the Endura Hummvee jacket can also change with the weather. In cold and wet conditions, the loosely cut 2.5-layer material protects against the elements. When it gets drier, the partially open zips on the sleeves allow fresh air to flow in. When it gets warmer, zip the sleeves and back off completely and wear the Hummvee as an airy gilet.
The sleeves and back are made in one piece. The sleeves are attached to the waistcoat with a zip. The back section, which covers the area over the shoulder blades, is fastened with press studs. There is a mesh insert underneath that allows excess heat and moisture to escape. The connecting zips and press studs do not get in the way even when wearing a rucksack.
