"A hoodie for biking? "The cotton bags may look casual, but they stick to the skin like a wet sack after the first drop of sweat - not particularly conducive to physical exercise on the bike. But the new MH-Tech hoodie from Monserat raises hopes. It is designed to harmonise the casual look with the benefits of breathable functional clothing.
The hoodie is made from breathable material with a brushed inside that is designed to be pleasantly soft against the skin. This combination is designed to keep you warm on cool autumn days while wicking away excess heat and moisture.
With a stylish print on the back and the typical Hoddie belly pocket, the MH-Tech hoodie also cuts a fine figure in everyday life. The hood has an elasticated drawstring and can also be easily pulled over a helmet
Also good: the hoodie can be optionally equipped with a wind-repellent inner layer made from 90% recycled plastic. This is designed to effectively protect the chest against cold headwinds.
The Monserat MTB Tech Hoodie is available in six different designs and three colours. Models in the MH1, MH3 and MH5 range are characterised by small lettering on the chest, while MH2, MH4 and MH6 stand out with eye-catching chest and back prints.
According to the manufacturer, the hoodie is dyed through to the last fibre. This means that there are no visible white threads when it comes into contact with thorn bushes, for example. An extremely stretchy and durable film is used for the prints, which TÜV Rheinland claims is also harmless to the environment.
It is available in black, dark olive and grey and in sizes S to XXL. The price is 99.95 euros for the standard version and 119.95 euros for the version with a wind-repellent insert.
