It seems to have grown on your bum: the all-round talent from Gore

Whether on a bike tour, commute, via ferrata adventure or cross-country skiing session, Gore's all-round talent has been firmly attached to my bum in icy temperatures for two years. So far, they have hardly shown any signs of wear. Depending on the temperature, a short or knee-length bibshort fits underneath. The leg width can be adjusted with two Velcro straps. Kevlar protects the inside of the leg from the chainring. Four zipped pockets hold your mobile phone, keys and change. I never use the zip function on the trouser legs, but it doesn't really bother me. I only switch to rain trousers on wet days.

Stefan Frey is from Lower Bavaria and loves the mossy, loamy trails of the Bavarian Forest as much as the rugged rock of the Dolomites. For technical descents, he is prepared to tackle almost any ascent - under his own steam. As an accessories specialist, he is the first port of call for questions about equipment and add-on parts, while as head of copywriting he sweeps the language crumbs from the pages of the BIKE print editions.
