Endurance test: North Face Bike Collection
Over the past few months, North Face's new bike collection has had to prove itself in riding tests.

As the centrepiece of the clothing available in spring 2012, I was impressed by the thin and handy Xenon jacket. The wind and weather protection made from Gore Tex Paclite accompanied me on several mountain tours. I usually pulled the well-fitting jacket on quickly at the summit. The Americans still need to improve the fit of the Muddy Track jersey: Despite the elasticated cuffs, the wide pockets hang loosely over the bum. Otherwise, the material and the deep front zip provide plenty of fresh air. The Levada shorts always sit in the right place thanks to the adjustable waistband. The robust stretch material is comfortable to wear, and two long ventilation openings allow air to flow through the thighs. The Dirt Merchant glove survived a few crashes, the mesh on the top keeps you cool and the fit is just right.
