Dirtlej has already made a name for itself with its robust rain overalls and bike protectors. The portfolio was recently expanded to include a lightweight rain onesie, the Dirtsuit Light.

Thanks to its compact pack size (can be stowed in the hood), the Dirtsuit Light Edition takes up very little space in your rucksack and weighs a manageable 400 grams in size M. The ideal companion for mixed weather forecasts. Ventilation can be regulated using the long side zips on both sides, which can be opened from above and below. The wrist cuffs can also be adjusted with Velcro fasteners.

With a height of 1.79 metres, the size M suit fitted us quite well. However, the first ride out in bad weather was a disappointment. The suit initially held tight, but then became clammy in the seat area. The coating on the inside had already peeled off. The second suit in our test run also came to an early end. When we enquired with Dirtlej, we received the following response: "We are aware of the problem of the backer coming off on the inside - but this only happened very rarely. Of course, we then sent our customers a new Dirtsuit. Our new model will therefore be revised accordingly and improved in critical areas."

PLUS Small pack size and can be stowed in its own hood. No water or dirt can get between the jacket and trousers. Quick to put on.
MINUS Insufficient abrasion resistance in the seat area. Limited moisture protection due to shorts. Normal rain suit (jacket + shorts) weighs a similar amount.
