The Fox Flexair is a very comfortable pair of shorts with good wearing comfort, but with weaknesses in the details. And they are expensive.

The stretch fabric with ventilation zones works well and moulds comfortably to the thighs. The robust, water-repellent material also survived falls in exemplary fashion. Everything top.

However, two things annoyed me:

1. after around ten washes, the screen-printed logo came off.

2. the fly always looks as if it is half open despite the ratchet fastening.

WEAKNESSES: Quality logo print, price

Conclusion: very comfortable shorts with weaknesses in the details. Expensive.

Born in South Baden, Laurin Lehner is, by his own admission, a lousy racer. Maybe that's why he is fascinated by creative, playful biking. What counts for him is not how fast you get from A to B, but what happens in between. Lehner writes reports, interviews scene celebrities and tests products and bikes - preferably those with a lot of suspension travel.
