SQlab has launched two new products on the market: Their first flat pedal and their bestseller - the SQ-Short ONE10 - now also for women.

5OX pedal: Reliable and robust

The first ergonomic flat pedal from SQlab.

The high-quality 5OX plastic pedal should not be inferior to other aluminium pedals in terms of weight and durability. In fact, the fibre-reinforced plastic should even give way in the event of hard contact with stones and rocks, for example. SQlab's tests have shown that the 50X pedals are even more durable than aluminium versions. The manufacturer also attaches great importance to good bearings in the pedals - according to their own information, the 50X have the best and most durable bearings.

Fit:

Three different axle lengths are available for the 50X pedals. This allows everyone to achieve a physiologically natural foot position on the pedal. The flat pedals from SQlab are also suitable for larger feet, a V-shaped foot position or larger sit bone distances, which usually require a higher Q-factor.

Ergonomic stand:

The slightly concave and outwardly rotated pedal surface enables an ergonomic position on the pedal and at the same time creates grip.

Maximum contact surface:

To maximise the pedalling surface, it is flush with the pedal axle. As a result, there is no annoying elevation of the pedalling surface on the inside of the foot, as is the case with many other flat pedals. The 50X pedals also explicitly offer space up to shoe size 50.

SQ-Short ONE10 Women - the SQlab bestseller now also in a women's cut

The popular SQlab underpants for an upright riding position are now also available in a women's version.

To achieve this, SQlab has adapted the cut to the female body shape:

  • The leg length was shortened accordingly.
  • The wide waistband is double layered, slightly slanted and overlaps towards the navel.

This shape means that the waistband follows the female body shape and is designed to hug the waist without folding over or cutting in. The SQ-Pad 10 pad is a maximum of 8 mm thin and firm. This means that the pad cannot be pushed through loosely with two fingers, as is usually the case with pads that are far too soft.

The pad consists of a dense yet breathable foam and is equipped with a thin layer of TPE gel on the underside. This is intended to optimise absorption of the shear forces generated during pedalling. The SQ-Short ONE10 is made for everyday use and has an ideal cut for wearing under trousers.

  • Sizes: XS - 4XL
  • Material: 75% nylon, 25% elastane
  • Price: 99,95 Euro >> available here
