For even more comfort, the padding cores of the Me cycling shorts from Everve can be individually selected. The products also want to impress with "Made in Germany".

Most bikers know the problem: anyone who spends many hours in the saddle often suffers from seat discomfort. The Cycling clothing manufacturer Everve, based in the Swabian Alb, is launching cycling shorts with two new patents in the seat area. These are designed to increase comfort.

Most cycling trousers are developed for the widest possible range of bikers and purposes. "With our new Me cycling trousers, we are now customising the padding to the rider and their bike. After all, nobody wants to wear crampon-proof hiking boots for a mountain marathon," says Stephan Wolfer, co-founder and managing director of Everve.

The technology of the Me cycling shorts is based on two new Everve patents: the seat area is characterised by two customisable seat cushion cores. The customer determines the padding thickness via the web configurator. Depending on the weight, seating position, type of bike and saddle model, the most suitable padding set is selected from a range of nine pad thicknesses.

The second patent relates to the new climate technology in the seat area. Here, a two-layer construction is intended to ensure better climate management and greater comfort: "When riding in the cradle, a kind of traction effect is also created in the seat area, which supports rapid drying," explains Stephan Wolfer.

The two Everve founders Andreas and Stephan Wolfer focus on quality "Made in Germany". Everve carries out the entire production process and development itself. "This enables us to develop the products in a stringent and consistently coordinated manner," says Andreas Wolfer, the second founder and Managing Director of Everve.

The products are sold exclusively via the company's own online shop and the warehouse outlet in Albstadt. "Thanks to our direct sales structure without intermediaries, we can offer high-quality cycling clothing produced in Germany at prices that are lower than comparable products from our competitors," says Andreas Wolfer. The Me trousers cost 190 euros.
