Gore Bike Wear Alp-X Pro: MTB jacket and shorts on test
Gore is targeting ambitious bikers with its new Alp-X-Pro clothing. We have already had the opportunity to test the 2 in 1 Shorts+ and the Windstopper Soft Shell zip-off jersey in detail.

The trousers are bib shorts and sporty shorts in one. The airy material ensures plenty of draught. The seat pad, leg cuffs and bibs are among the best on the market. Only the sewn-on shorts are too tight. They move up the thighs when pedalling and bunch up there. When riding, you have to pull them down regularly by hand.

The thin windstopper jacket is extremely elasticated and has a sporty cut. The sleeves can also be zipped off. This means the jacket can be transformed into a jersey in two easy steps. The cut is ergonomic and doesn't pinch, while a special hem at the back of the waistband prevents it from riding up. Three pockets on the back, one on the chest.

PLUS Trousers: seat pad, straps, cuffs Jacket: ergonomic cut, material
MINUS Trousers: sewn-on shorts too tight/slides up constantly

Price jacket and trousers 200 Euro each
Weight jacket and trousers 301 gram each
