Anyone who enjoys outdoor sports needs reliable weather protection. But the choice of modern functional jackets is huge. TREKKINGBIKE presents 13 models that don't just cut a fine figure on the bike.

From the huge range of functional jackets on offer, TREKKINGBIKE has selected the models that have the widest range of uses and offer the best compromise between a cycling jacket and an all-round jacket. Good basic material is a must. Gore-Tex materials are used in nine of the thirteen functional jackets presented.

The others use the manufacturer's own fabrics, but they all work according to the same layering principle. A waterproof membrane is laminated onto a robust outer fabric, usually made of polyamide. In addition, there is a lining that is either loose (2-layer jacket) or also welded to the outer fabric and membrane (3-layer jacket).
