Bioracer Spitfire Tempest Protect: Winter jacket on test
An extended bike tour in cold, damp, dirty weather or on frosty winter days? With the Bioracer Spitfire Tempest Protect winter jacket, there are no more excuses.

The fluffy roughened inside and the sporty, tight cut make the Bioracer Spitfire Temepst Protect very comfortable. An elasticated band at the bottom prevents the jacket from riding up. Nevertheless, the back section could be cut a little longer. Although the windproof jacket is not as warm as competitor models with Primaloft, it is much more breathable and can easily withstand a snow or rain shower. Wide stretch cuffs on the sleeves and neck protect these sensitive areas from the wind. The smooth-running zip is concealed under a soft fabric flap at the chin to prevent chafing. Highly reflective material on the sleeves and shoulders increases visibility in the dark. Three waterproof back pockets hold lots of small items.

As the Bioracer jacket has a very sporty cut, it can also be worn one size larger. This provides a larger air cushion to buffer the cold.
