The high weight and the non-adjustable fork make it more of a tourer than a racer.

Fully equipped with Shimano SLX components (except for the hubs), the Pro 69 is at a good level in terms of components. However, the other add-on parts are less impressive and also drive up the weight. The 2.35 kg fork lacks rebound adjustment and the narrow 2.1 mm Schwalbe clincher tyres in the Sportline version don't have the grip of the Evo version. Due to its high weight, the Wheeler accelerates rather sluggishly. The handlebars should be wider for better downhill handling.

CONCLUSIONS: The high weight and the non-adjustable fork make it more of a tourer than a racer.

TUNING TIP: wider handlebars and different tyres.
