CONCLUSION: sporty all-rounder for marathons and tours.
Trenga Des "TW 1.6" delights with its successful riding position, balanced geometry and smooth downhill ride. Uphill, however, the bike feels rather sluggish. The heavy Marzocchi fork is disappointing in its response behaviour and does not use its full travel. In terms of character, however, it matches the rear suspension well, which is also not super sensitive, but absorbs big hits well. Unfortunately, the damper adjustment behind the seat tube is difficult to reach. Nice: Disc saddle integrated into the rear of the frame, screw-in grips. Too bad: Theoretically there would be room for two bottle cages in the frame, but there are only eyelets for one.
