Specialised Epic FSR Comp
An averagely equipped marathon bike with many suspension adjustment options and a rather relaxed riding position.

Although you sit relatively relaxed on the Epic FSR and have the best control thanks to the wide handlebars, the four-bar linkage also climbs nasty ramps with enough pressure on the front wheel - thanks to the steep seat angle. The rider has the option of adjusting the trigger threshold of the automatic shock lockout via the Brain setting. We rode with the setting open for a sensitive, hiccup-free response and could not detect any disturbing drive influences. For even better downhill performance, the steering angle could be slightly slacker. The narrow tyres reduce the all-round qualities.

CONCLUSIONS: An averagely equipped marathon bike with many suspension adjustment options and a rather relaxed riding position.

TUNING TIP: fit wider, grippier tyres.
