Scott Spark 29 Pro
The Spark 29 Pro from Scott is a well thought-out bike with lots of potential and a wide range of uses. A 29er racer as it should be. Reasonable price.

The new Spark looks fast and does not disappoint expectations. A score of 5.5 points in each of the handling categories speaks for itself. Scott has designed the bike for demanding riders. Carbon fibre pushes the frame weight into racing territory. The suspension is ahead of the competition thanks to the user-friendly lever on the handlebars. However, it lacks harmony. The SID fork is too firm for the rear, it needs more travel, the bike would be exciting with the 120 reba. On tarmac, you have to ride the rear in traction mode. Low weight, good geometry, appropriate equipment (gearing) and the handling characteristics make the Spark one of the few 29ers that can actually be used for racing. Size L covers a range for 1.80-1.90 m tall riders, but the seat angle flattens out with a long seatpost extension and you sit tail-heavy. On the test lap, the tyres determine the limit range.
