CONCLUSION: visually a real Rocky Mountain, but only mid-range due to the equipment.

It is not surprising that Rocky Mountain does not present the most luxurious equipment of the test field on its entry-level "Element". It's more surprising that the Canadians are now involved in this price range at all. The frame looks high quality (five sizes), has the proven Rocky geometry and forms the basis for very good riding characteristics - if it weren't for the high weight. The Marzocchi fork is very heavy and bumpy. This detracts from the riding pleasure. However, the frame is worthy of a gradual upgrade.

CONCLUSION: visually a real Rocky Mountain, but only mid-range due to the equipment.

TUNING TIP: Weight tuning in general.
