Ghost SE 7000
The Ghost SE 7000 is a comfortable tourer with moderate equipment.
With its golden glitter look, the Ghost clearly stands out from the drab uniform black and grey of the competition. The geometry fits. Upright and comfortable, but due to the steep seat angle with a lot of pressure on the front wheel, the SE 7000 climbs quite passably, if it weren't for the high weight. The frame and fork alone weigh over four kilos and the heavy add-on parts also put a strain on the scales. Downhill, the short stem ensures good handling. However, the insensitive fork without rebound adjustment (!) costs points.
CONCLUSIONS: Comfortable tourer with moderate equipment.
TUNING TIP: Weight reduction.
