The RT Lector Pro Team is a great race bike with a slightly unfortunate specification. Great, but not quite perfect.

Like last year, the 2012 RT Lector also deserves the test rating "super". The basis for this is the very good frame and the weight-optimised equipment. The low weight and the lightweight Tune wheels are immediately noticeable when accelerating on the rough test track. The SID fork worked very well this time and can be locked via X-Loc on the handlebars. The Ghost team riders now also have this option on the Rock Shox shock - the customer still has to wait. The over-damped Rock-Shox shock costs points compared to last year (128.5). The rear suspension can do more! For the test, we swapped the 120 mm stem for a 90 mm model. The developers also got the gearing too tight and the handlebars too narrow.

The Ghost is also harmoniously tuned, the characteristics of the fork and rear triangle are very similar. In practice, however, the tough compression damping of the Rock Shox shock was a concern and prevented the rear triangle from working more sensitively.
