The Ghost Lector 7700 is an agile, lightweight marathon bike that also cuts a fine figure on the trail.

The Lector 7700 shone colourfully over the trails on Lake Garda. The carbon frame with aluminium rear triangle polarised the tastes of the test crew. However, there was agreement on the inner values such as riding characteristics and suspension quality. Rather cosy than stretched out, you sit quite relaxed on the Ghost, even on longer rides. Thanks to the steep seat angle and sensitive rear suspension, the Lector still climbs with confidence and plenty of traction. On flat slalom trails and downhill, the bike is remarkably agile due to its steep head angle, which some will find nervous. Despite the expensive carbon frame, Ghost has put together an attractive equipment package with a complete XT groupset and harmonious details - for example large brake discs at the front and rear.
