Visually, the unique frame shape of the Tahoe SL with its curved down tube stands out from the test field. The 605 mm top tube in combination with the short head tube ensures a sporty position and creates a good forward momentum, which is, however, slowed down somewhat by the high weight. Thanks to the 69-degree steering angle, the bike descends smoothly. Weaknesses in the details: The saddle quick release and chainstay protector are missing, which detracts from the result.
CONCLUSIONS: Averagely equipped hardtail with race-orientated geometry. Relatively heavy. Only three sizes available.
TUNING TIP: Retrofit quick-release saddle and chainstay protector.
