Finally: The 2020 Canyon Lux is here!
The Lux CF was one of Canyon's most popular bikes in 2019 and therefore sold out quickly. Now there's good news: The 2020 Lux and Exceed models are now available.

Pauline Ferrand-Prévot, Mathieu van der Poel and Ronja Eibl have been shaking up the racetracks of the world on the Lux this season and the Canyon Race Fully has often been at the top of the podium. Such as the two world championship titles of the Frenchwoman, the World Cup victories and the European Championship title of van der Poel or the overall U23 World Cup victory of Ronja Eibl. Various Lux models also scored highly in BIKE tests last year. Unfortunately, most of the Lux models were sold out early in the season. Now Canyon presents the 2020 models.

Lux CF SL still with 110 mm suspension forks

The Lux frame remains unchanged. This means that the carbon chassis of the 29er full-suspension bike should still weigh approx. 2000 grams in the SL version (without shock, size L) and approx. 1800 grams in the SLX version. We measured the rear suspension travel of the different Lux models at 108 millimetres. New for 2020 is that riders of the SL platform, which is equipped with 110 mm suspension forks, can look forward to the new 12-speed version of Shimano's proven XT groupset or new suspension forks such as the RockShox SID Select. The SLX models of the Lux CF continue to come as pure race fullys with 100 mm front and rear travel. Among these bikes, the 9.0 Team in the design of Mathieu van der Poel's Corendon Circus team stands out visually. The top model is the Lux CF SLX 9.0 Race LTD including the Sram XX1 Eagle AXS wireless electric drivetrain. The 2020 Lux CF comes in seven model variants including a women's-specific WMN version and is also available as a frameset (€2999). Prices: 2899 to 6999 euros, weights: from 10.1 kg.

The Lux CF SL 6.0 for 2899 euros marks the entry into the model range. Canyon Exceed 2020

Decorated with silver at the Marathon World Championships by Kristian Hynek, the 2020 Exceed CF is also in the starting blocks. The Exceed frame has also not changed compared to 2018 and 2019. The SL version weighs around 1220 grams in size L, while the SLX frame weighs 990 grams (BIKE measurements). The carbon hardtail is available in nine model variants, including two women's-specific WMN versions. The Exceed CF SL 7.0 for 2699 euros, which is equipped with a Reynolds carbon wheelset, should be extremely exciting. The top model of the Canyon hardtails for the 2020 MTB season is the Exceed CF SLX 9.0 Race LTD with electronic Sram XX1 Eagle AXS. Prices: 1699 to 5999 euros, weights from 8.9 kg.
