Felt Edict LTD
With the Edict, Felt has succeeded in putting a very convincing race bike with harmonious suspension, low weight and a stiff frame on the tyres.

The new Edict is Felt's big surprise. Without exception, all testers were impressed by the fast bike with its amazingly sensitive yet efficient suspension. Similar to the Cannondale rear triangle, the Edict with its FAST rear triangle (Felt Active Stay Technology) also dispenses with a bearing at the lower end of the seat stays and utilises the inherent flex of the carbon material. However, unlike the Scalpel, there is still an industrial bearing at the connection between the chainstay and the main frame. World champion Lakata summarises his impressions as follows: "The Edict is my favourite on the climbs. The rear suspension is super sensitive, but there's not too much movement, even with the shock open. Downhill, however, it's difficult to utilise the full suspension travel." Despite the slightly too steep 71 mm steering angle for our taste and the narrow handlebars - but low bottom bracket - both pros set the fastest times downhill. With a seat tube length of just 440 millimetres, the bike is quite long for a 17.5-inch frame and therefore stretched out.
